Description

The SWAT model uses weather data, surface runoff, return flow, percolation, ET, transmission losses, pond and reservoir storage, crop growth and irrigation, groundwater flow, reach routing, nutrient loading, pesticide loading and water transfer to predict the effect of management decisions on water, sediment, nutrient and pesticide yields on large, ungaged river basins.
