Description

TTools is an ArcGIS extension used to sample geospatial data and assemble high-resolution inputs for the Heat Source model or other water quality analysis.

Geographic Location

Developed in Oregon. Used widely by ODEQ across Oregon. Some routines are used in Washington.

Inputs

Digital elevation model, spatially explicit vegetation or land cover layer, center line, right and left bank polylines

Outputs

Center line elevations and gradients, channel widths, stream aspect, topographic elevation (deg), and vegetation or land cover samples

Linkage to Other Models

Ttools outputs are used directly by Heat Source

Level of Effort

Creating and formatting the GIS layers required by Ttools is an investment. Ttools itself is simple to use.
